Each year, the Assembly strives to meet a number of goals that perpetuate the desire to engage young people and communities in the relevance of design and how it affects us all. They, individually and collectively, seek opportunities to partner with local and national design associations, corporate entities and non-profit organizations in efforts to address issues and events that affect architects of color, the community and the physical environment. The Assembly has participated in several community events throughout the Twin Cities, including the Selby Area Community Development Corporation visioning process, the Clarence W. Wigington exhibit at the Fredrick R. Weisman Museum and many community design charrettes, to name a few.
